A delegation from the Ewan Cultural Heritage Centre of the Faculty of Engineering of the Islamic University of Gaza visited the Palestinian Chamber of Commerce to explore ways of cooperating jointly in the preservation of Palestinian cultural identity. The visit was aimed at exploring ways of cooperating between the Ewan Centre and the Chamber of Commerce in the area of community awareness of the preservation of Palestinian cultural identity
For his part, Mr. Al-Hasri welcomed the delegation of Ewan, commending the status of the Islamic University and its great role in building Palestinian society, and expressed his admiration for the efforts and work of the Ewan Center to preserve Palestinian cultural identity
In turn, Dr. Al-Astal congratulated Mr. Al-Hasri on the safety of his return to the homeland after a foreign business trip and the performance of Umrah. He expressed his pleasure in visiting the Chamber of Commerce one of the national institutions supporting the Palestinian national economy. Dr. Al-Astal spoke about the Ewan Center, its objectives, and the vision for the future

Engineer Balaoui discussed the Center’s policies in dealing with historical buildings and how to preserve them, reviewing the funding methods of these types of buildings that need high skill and capabilities to deal in the scientific and technical way in the process of restoration and preservation architect of Ramlawi noted that the Centre had been issuing an archive of archaeological and historical buildings in the Gaza Strip, which reflected the legacy of the monarchy and Ottoman period, as it was important to publicize these buildings and their historical value
