:An Introduction to the Industrial Engineering Departments
The Faculty of Engineering at Islamic University has supported technological and industrial development stemming from the university’s strategy of building an educated cultural generation capable of keeping abreast of the developments of the times.It proceeded to open the industrial engineering department in 2001, in response to the needs of economic and industrial facilities in Palestine and neighboring Arab countries to provide engineering and technical personnel capable of operating and managing those facilities efficiently and with high quality.
Industrial Engineering is the engineering branch that has emerged to supplement traditional engineering disciplines and cover neglected aspects, linking them to economic and humanitarian aspects in order to obtain the best value for the lowest cost.
Industrial engineering is the only major that qualifies the holder to read and understand the graphics, designs, engineering maps, and technical reports while at the same time reading and understanding the budgets, records, and various financial reports with the ability to link them.
The wide variety of skills that the industrial engineer is able to work in any field in the industrial and service sectors.
