The Center of Excellence for Renewable Energy (CERE) was established by the Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) in 2020 and funded by GIZ.
Center objectives:
1. Promote research and development projects in the field of (clean) energy.
2. Transfer knowledge and creation of research and development culture among both graduate and undergraduate students.
3. Establish ties with NGOs and local companies involved in the field.
