Students of the Islamic University can transfer to the Faculty of Engineering (provided that there is a vacancy) if the student’s high school average allows so, and if the high school average does not allow that, students of the faculties of science and information technology at the university can transfer to the Faculty of Engineering (see
the academic system of the university) according to the following conditions:
- committing to the model schedules for the first level according to the departments they are enrolled in, with the exception of chemistry B “CHEMB1301” and its lab “CHEM 1202” (five credit hours), where science students can replace them with a course introduction in computer “CSCT 1405” (four credit hours).
- Completion of 35 hours in two regular semesters.
- Obtaining an average of 80% or more (the summer semester is not included in the average calculation).
- Applying for a transfer to the Faculty of Engineering at the general level, knowing that students will be accepted on a competitive basis if the number of students wishing to transfer to one of the departments of the Faculty of Engineering exceeds the capacity of that department.
